Job Description

This role involves facilitating and managing large public and private sector SAAS sales processes. Working with a mix of B2B private sector clients, as well as the management of Public Sector sales and tender processes. A core member of a dynamic and busy team dealing with multiple clients at any given point. The role will involve identifying and closing opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound business development. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, with external procurement bodies and public sector authorities to ensure the highest standards and quality of work are achieved. Core Responsibilities * Scope, qualify and close sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound business development calls, emails, onsite sales visits and event attendance. * Analyse and propose market vertical opportunities by researching the target market and market trends. * To assist in the management and development of key private and public sector partnerships ensuring the highest standards of customer service are upheld at all times * To assist with relevant procurement exercises, the maintaining of relevant frameworks and to produce exceptional quality, compliant and professionally produced tender submissions. * Manage and create sales proposals utilising a variety of internal stakeholders, typically involving contributions across departments whilst ensuring quality standards are met. Further Responsibilities * Check various Tender Search systems on a daily basis and identify any contracts which may be of interest to the Company, either to bid or for market intelligence purposes. * Responsible for the production of reports for both the team and Senior Management when required. * To follow relevant procedures for Tender compilation, authorisation and submission * To provide technical and commercial writing skills for the team and have the ability to produce costing comparison to help aid decision making. * To chair and take minutes at Team Meetings as well as ensuring accurate up to date records are kept of all action points. * To comply with such training as is required and necessary to perform the above duties to the highest standard. RequirementsEssential Qualities * Proven track record of enthusiastically hitting and exceeding sales targets * Experience selling software and technology products * Experience of selling to or working within the public sector * A self-starter, able to identify and work towards business goals * Proven ability in planning, producing and delivering compliant proposal documents within a complex business environment * The ability to maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times. * Demonstrating full computer literacy and experience with various software packages * Education to Degree level and the ability to produce exceptional quality written work Desired Qualities * Postgraduate studies in business studies or similar * Experience within a SaaS/Software sales environment preferred * Certified to APMP Foundation * Experience of a busy, high-pressure working environment is an advantage as the role demands the ability to handle multiple workloads with key task identification and prioritisation essential
