" Southern Housing Group are looking for a Scheme Services Coordinator to join an exciting and dynamic team, within a growing and forward thinking organisation. Working within the Community Investment and Care team, the Scheme Services Coordinator will be responsible for working at one of our sheltered housing schemes in Egham. They will be involved in helping residents with housing management and tenancy issues, liaising with other agencies and ensuring the safety and security of residents are a priority. Job Description Do you enjoy the challenge of not knowing exactly what each day will bring? Are you able to think on your feet, re-order your time and priorities as you go along and go from one task to another without losing focus? If you have experience of working in social housing or a similar field, ideally coupled with an understanding of older people or other vulnerable client groups, we may have the opportunity for you. You will need great organisational skills, a natural empathy for building relationships with older people and the ability work successfully with a range of other organisations. As key member of the Sheltered Services Team, we are looking for a strong team player who is able to communicate well with their colleagues and be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. Whatever your background, a passion for delivering great customer service is vital whether you are signing-up a new resident, speaking to a contractor about a repair or organising specialist support with a colleague. This role is on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months, working 25 hours per week.
