Find your future with us. Boeing Defence UK is looking for a Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) Analyst (Maintenance Program Analyst), to be based in Gosport, Hampshire. You will be supporting the outputs of the growing RCM Team as part of the UK Through Life Customer Support (TLCS2) and Chinook Engine Support Arrangement (CESA) programmes,- badged as Chinook In-Service Support (ISS); expanding to support Fixed Wing and other Rotorcraft Platforms, as they come on contract. The individual will report to the Product Support Manager, with day to day supervision from the RCM Team Lead, and will assist with the Team's RCM Analysis (RCMA) and Technical Authoring requirements, culminating in optimised preventive maintenance task recommendations and onward production of the Topic 5 Suite of Air Publications for the UK's Royal Air Force Chinook fleet of Helicopters or similar for other platforms. Some travel may be required to the MoD customer at Abbey Wood and RAF Odiham in support of the tasking requirements. Position Responsibilities: RCM activities will require the individual to perform Analysis/Authoring as required on Platforms, Systems and Equipment Maintenance Schedules to optimise the Preventive Maintenance burden whilst maintaining airworthiness, and ensuring schedules are amended and maintained in accordance with the standards, policies and directives applicable at the time of issue. Analysis and resultant authoring amendment actions will be based on customer Technical Change Requests, In House Review Processes, Modification Requirements, other RCMA outputs and RCM Scoping Studies in support of the RCM Continuous Improvement Programme. You will support RCM activities related to Engineering Change Proposals, New Build and Retrofit Programmes, liaising with Engineering Departments in Boeing Philadelphia and UK. Utilising an understanding of Preventive Maintenance Processes, you will use the BDUK RCM Processes and Procedures, updating and maintaining these as necessary. You will participate in Chinook ISS Engineering and Supportability and ILS meetings and actively engage with other organisations and stakeholders to seek innovative solutions, to improve programme metrics and reduce cost of ownership. You will be expected to work under general supervision. What We're Looking for: To be successful in the role you will need to have Reliability Centred Maintenance Analysis (RCM) or MSG3 experience and appropriate training. Ideally this should be coupled with the ability to author the amendments resultant from the analysis into the publications. Preferably educated to degree level in a relevant Engineering subject. Experience with either rotorcraft or Boeing Fixed Wing platforms is highly desirable along with previous experience with UK MoD customers. Experience of using Microsoft Office Suite. Experience of using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro is highly desirable. All information provided will be checked and may be verified.
