Job Description
I am looking for a few Welders or Fabricators to support my client as they catch up with additional work that they have been unable to complete due to lockdown. The client is a well-established company based in Littlehampton and we are pleased to be able to support them finding 2 or 3 candidates to work with them on a Temp basis for 1 to 2 months and this may lead to a permanent role directly with the company for the successful applicants. You will mainly be focusing on the production and MIG Welding of specialist gym equipment although the client's usual portfolio includes structural and larger welding projects they have diversified to keep up to date with current trends (some ARC stick welding may also be required). The role offers a normal working week of 40 hours (8:30 to 16:00 Mon to Fri) with the possibility of overtime paid a time and a half. The client is looking to meet and start the successful applicant as soon as possible. The factory can be reached on public transport, however free onsite parking is available. The factory has been adjusted to meet current guidelines to minimise the risk of COVID 19, and you will need to adhere to the new safer distance working practices employed by the company. PPE and additional cleaning equipment is provided by the client.
