Project Manager £40,000 Sussex, RH7 My client is a well-regarded charitable organisation based in Surrey, with an interesting range of internal data and database projects to work on. Due to expansion, my client is now looking for an experienced IT Project manager to deliver a broad range of internal IT projects mainly based upon Data Transformation within the organisation. If you have experience with delivering data / database projects and have experience of working with Agile / Prince2 then we want to hear from you! There is a large programme of work planned for the next few years, initially starting with a SharePoint online upgrade, a company-wide records system upgrade, the implementation of a new safeguarding system and the implementation of several key databases covering HR and rostering. Due to the location of this role, it's vital that you are a driver with your own vehicle. Ok, so over to you: Our perfect Project Manager: * Will be client-facing, leading major internal initiatives, liaising with stakeholders. * Will be an extremely, hands-on project manager who excels working in small teams. * Will be an excellent communicator; you will conduct meetings and produce reports regularly, to manage the delivery of a number of projects of varying sizes, adopting best practice project management techniques to achieve project deliverables. * Will work directly with internal departments and external parties to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and to scope. * Will work directly with the Head of IT you will oversee and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure that time and cost parameters are monitored and managed. * Will utilise risk management strategies to minimise any threats to delivery. The Successful Candidate Will Have: * Solid experience in the IT industry as an IT Project Manager, delivering database / data upgrade projects. * A demonstrable track record of major project delivery, working in an Agile environment. * A good understanding of the full project lifecycle. * Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral. * A team-player ethos, with a high amount of integrity. * In addition, experience of working within the charitable sector would be a bonus.
