THE SHREWSBURY AND TELFORD HOSPITAL NHS TRUST CONSULTANT ACUTE PHYSICIANS - X 2 POSTS We are seeking to appoint 2 full time Acute/General Physicians to join our current team of seven Acute Physicians across both hospital sites. The successful candidates will help us to continue to develop acute medical services within the Trust which includes responsibility for not only the acute medical units but also ambulatory emergency care and a short stay ward. These are 10 PA posts with 7.5 DCC and 2.5 SPAs which includes a requirement to join the out of hours general medical on-call rota. This is an exciting opportunity for you to have a central role in the development of Acute Medical Services whilst living in a beautiful part of the Country. You must possess full registration with the General Medical Council with a licence to Practice and have completed Higher Training and be on the Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of obtaining CCT at the time of interview, CESR or European Community Rights. The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust serve the total population of Shropshire and Powys, which numbers approximately 600,000. This appointment is integral to the Trust's and Local Health Economy's plans to rapidly develop a better quality and sustainable Acute Medical Service.
