Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Knowsley walk in centres. We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Senior Nurse Practitioner to join the Adult Community Health Team in Knowsley. You will work across all Walk in Centre sites, Huyton, Halewood and Kirkby. You must possess excellent triage, assessment and diagnostic skills and have recent experience of working within a first contact setting. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent clinical management, co-ordination and organisational skills. An extended nurse prescribing qualification would be very desirable as would a recognised clinical examination qualification at level 6 or above. To be considered for this post you must be able to demonstrate a commitment to professional development, leadership and be highly committed and be prepared to work flexibly across a range of shift patterns. This post is subject to an enhanced with children and adults barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is 47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
