This prison covers two sites - a closed category B male remand and a category D male open prison, with an operational capacity of 1,104. In the main closed site, there are 6 main house block residential units. There is a 20 bed inpatient unit covered 24hrs a day, with 24 hour nursing cover. The prison is operated by Her Majesty's Prison Service. Interested in clinical development? We could give you the opportunity to develop in to a specialist role of your interest and benefit to the service i.e. ANP, BBV, sexual health, plastering, ILS/ALS (intermediate life support and advanced life support), health promotion, phlebotomy, vaccinations, suturing, wound care, RCGP, and long term condition courses. In return for your hard work you will... Receive an annual salary of up to 36,000 depending on experience. You will be a qualified Registered Nurse (Adult) with a real passion for developing your clinical skills in an environment that is ever changing. You'll have a flexible approach working within a team that encourage new ideas and opinions on how to improve the service. The role will involve holding the night response radio and for the in patient unit. There can be flexibility with the working pattern depending on candidate needs (i.e 3 nights on, 4 nights off/week on week off) Employment Type: FULL_TIME
