Senior Oracle DBA, Application Support

We are now recruiting for a Senior Analyst to join our expanding team at our Global Business Services site in Lurgan. As a senior analyst within our team you will be responsible for evaluating, assisting with design, making recommendations and validating end-to-end technical architecture for Terex's Oracle EBS R12 application solution. This end to end solutions includes but not limited to; various 3rd Party Systems, Oracle RAC 12c DB's, MS SQL Server, Linus, AWS, various network technologies, storage technologies and user and application security components, processes and procedures. You will be reviewing outsourced service provider processes and practices to ensure Terex's level of service targets and expectations are met or exceed; ensuring triage of in process incidents progress quickly; ensuring full root cause analysis and appropriate irreversible, corrective actions are pursued and implemented to prevent incident reoccurrence; identifying improvement opportunities, both performance and cost of ownership; and communicating status to mid-level management. Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field + Min of 8 years' experience in various Oracle ERP application support roles/functions, including time spent as an Oracle ERP DB + Upgrading Oracle EBS to R12 + Upgrading Oracle DB to 12c Desirable: + Monitoring capabilities, must include Oracle Cloud Control + Oracle ADG, Disaster Recovery, ASM, RAC, PCP, Solix, Shipconsole, Vertex, + Security and Audit requirements and activities + Extensive DB experience + EC2, S3, Hotsos, + Network and storage Preferred Qualifications: + Minimum 2 different cycles with upgrading to EBS R12 (different clients) + Min of 3 yrs with Oracle 12 c DB + Financial cost center planning, tracking and variance reporting + Support migration from one supplier to another (e.g., KT, Shadow, Reverse Shadow, Primary) Travel: + Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time What's on offerAs a Senior Analyst with us you will receive an attractive salary plus bonus, Westfield Healthcare, Pension, Employee stock share scheme, Life assurance at 3 times your salary, family friendly policies and access to our Perks card with Highstreet discounts.
