Job Description
NHS Grampian is delighted at the prospect of recruiting two Consultant Surgeons to the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department at Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin. These full-time posts (10 PA's, 2 additional PA's negotiable) will primarily be based at Dr. Gray's Hospital. Specialist interest will be encouraged and there may be an opportunity, if appropriate, for interested and suitably qualified applicants to work at other hospitals within Grampian. Dr. Gray's Hospital is situated in Elgin, the county town of Moray in the North-East of Scotland. We currently have an enthusiastic team of Clinicians dedicated to providing a high-quality service to approximately 9000 patients a year in the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department. We admit a full range of Trauma and Elective cases. Our nearest centres are 40 miles to the West and 60 miles to the East. Applicants must be in possession of the intercollegiate FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics). Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required.
