Role purpose: We created V by Vodafone business 2 years ago with a mission to pioneer a new way of connecting customers to the world of Internet of Things. Now, we are revolutionising the playing field in Consumer Internet of Things CIoT). That means we are leading in the market in what we do with over 500 million customers globally. Our smart V sim card allows innate objects to be controlled from around the world, anywhere, at any time. We have launched 15 products in 7 markets globally and are ready to amplify our teams and build a new house of products that change the way we are connected. You will be part of a dedicated team of specialists committed to producing world-changing Consumer IoT products, where you will share our prioritization of user centricity and passion for learning and experimenting. Your active contribution and problem-solving ability will help the whole team to evolve and mature. Key accountabilities and decision ownership: A key element of the role is to ensure efficient communication between various stakeholders, team members, external partners and suppliers across the product lifecycle. The role will drive and execute the expansion strategy of Consumer IoT for new markets and products and work to improve the overall operational efficiency with a continuously growing portfolio. * Drive and manage global extension of Consumer IoT products iin close collaboration with the commercial teams * Drive and manage overall programmes ability of self-service enablement * Identify, manage and resolve dependencies, risks and issues on all layers (technical, commercial & organisational) which could affect the successful delivery of products. * Manage strategic cross programme projects end2end * To identify and improve the overall business efficiency by streamlining processes, driving self-service and continuous improvements of the organisation in a hands-on fashion. * To drive key initiatives and strategic projects that impact the overall programme. * Drive key business decisions on make-or-buy, vendor selection, delivery and operational model for the new products or services and support the Commercial team with product road map planning. * Ensure that business processes are in place and functioning in an efficient way, and in line with the involved delivery squads. Core competencies, knowledge and experience required: * Strong background in Product Delivery within IT/Telco markets. * Deep knowledge of software product development projects and delivery in agile environments. * Experience working with Consumer IoT/Smart devices/Smart metering/VSim products. * Experience in setting up product governance and overall delivery processes in large complex organisations * Highly experiened in managing the stakeholders and teams involved in the product lifecycle * Proven vendor and partner management skills including planning and execution of selection processes, initial setup, commercial negotiations and controlling. * Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum) as well as traditional project management practices. * Strong communication skills to manage local and remote stakeholders in a distributed team Must have technical / professional qualifications: IT/Technology degree (MSc level preferably) #groupresourcing
