Business Development and Marketing Manager Located: Stourbridge and visiting new potential and existing clients Salary: 35,000 to 50,000 depending on your experience Bonus: Based on agreed targets and to be discussed at interview stage Industry: Building and Coating industry - market leaders If you're an experienced Business Development and Marketing Manager who is looking for an autonomous role, this could be it. We are supporting a leading player in the field of on-site spraying and protective coatings services, and they need someone like you to develop their new clientele relationships. You'll know how to deal with and have existing relationships with estate managers, surveyors, shopfitters and business park manager and be able to close deals from 5k to 200k with the support of an expert in-house surveyor. You will also know how to reconnect on a marketing level with existing clients such as CRM, newsletter and email marketing. Whilst it's an autonomous role, you will report to the owners and they will like to understand your pipeline so they can plan resources accordingly, and so that you are on course to hit target. You'll assist in the development of and will be responsible for implementing a business development plan. This must be with the focus of driving sales, increasing profitability and supporting the directors in their strategic plan for the business. The office is based on Stourbridge and so you'll spend some of your time there and the rest of your time out and about, nurturing new relationships and your existing relationships to explore where you can help most. You should be proactive in chasing down all potential business, to meet our business goals. This will be achieved by exploiting your knowledge, skills and experience for both business development and marketing. Reporting to the MD, the New Business Development Manager will have these skills and qualities: * Proven ability to work autonomously * Able to close deals from 5k to 200k * A proactive approach to lead generation for new business including LinkedIn and marketing campaigns * Love working within a small yet very well established market leading company * A proven network of relationships within the target markets * Thrives and has lots of experience in new business development * Able to revive, reconnect and nurture lapsed relationships * You must demonstrate a high level of initiative, working on your own to promote the business as well as working as part of the larger team.
