The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join us at our Northallerton Office and become part of a unique and ambitious team. This role will involve working alongside the existing team on a variety of projects who aspire to provide the best service to our clients. The overall purpose of this role is to complete book keeping and VAT, accountancy and business taxation assignments for clients of Armstrong Watson. The main elements of this role will include book keeping and preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT Returns, and Management Accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships and companies, many of which operate in the agricultural sector. In addition the role will include the preparation of business accounts and tax calculations when required. The Candidate In order to fulfil the role, we expect a candidate to be computer literate, have good communication skills, a pleasant manner and a good level of education. Relevant work experience in an accountancy environment and a working knowledge of Xero are also desirable.
