Position - Care & Housing Operations Manager Location - Malmesbury, Wiltshire Salary - £40,000 to £45,000 p.a Hours - Full time Why work here - This is a national housing charity that provides sheltered housing and care homes for elderly people and has done so for over 60 years, They believe it's the people they employ that makes them who they are today. They currently have more than 400 houses and over 7000 residents and are developing new homes throughout the UK with state of the art facilities. About the Service - This is an independent living home for elderly people who receive help with personal care, medication, food preparation, companionship, housework, shopping and escorting to appointments. It also has an overall "Good" CQC report. About the role - Reporting to the Area Business Manager, you will be responsible for Care Co-ordinators, Senior Carers, a Catering Manager, Maintenance personnel and Administrative personnel. Your main purpose will be ensuring a high quality of personalised Care and Housing service is provided for the residents. You will do this through the following duties; people management, exceeding CQC standards, delivering agreed budgets and ensuring maximum occupancy. Risk management, liaison with local authorities regards admissions, overseeing medications, reporting any repair work efficiently and overseeing the work, managing tenancies and any lease related issues, recruiting, inducting and on-going training of staff, to name but a few. Experience and qualifications - You will have previous housing management experience within a registered service and hold a Registered Managers Award or equivalent care management qualification. You will have working knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2009 (regulated activities), CQC Registration Regulations 2009 and the Care Act 2014/2015.
