Job Description
**Job Purpose:** The purpose of role is to provide Independent Control reporting and governance for the Operations & Technology (O&T) business and the successful candidate will have responsibility for providing high quality actionable data and support to our Senior Legal Vehicle O&T partners in order to identify and proactively address key control issues globally for Legal Vehicles: + Participation in newly formed robust and efficient framework for data management and reporting for Legal Vehicle O&T Controls + Delivery of high quality reliable management information and metrics reporting + Develop, maintain and enhance presentation materials for Senior & Executive management and stakeholders + Ongoing monitoring of key risk indicators such as CAPs, EUCs, Losses/Gains, Near Misses, Audits, BSER, Incidents, Trade Exceptions etc. and appropriate escalation to the Operations Line Control Officers and O&T management + Continually identify, develop and drive automation & efficiency opportunities for metric collation & report preparation + Contribute to governance of and participate in global control initiatives + The role will require the individual to work with other ICG Controls units and external stakeholders & data owners such as Operations, Front Office, OTRC, ORM, Information Security and Compliance etc. **Job Background/context:** ICG O&T Control & Reporting forms part of the ICG's first line of defence. Independent from the Operations and Technology functions which it supports, its role is to ensure they have the appropriate controls, oversight and reporting in place across all products, processes and systems to protect the firm. The successful candidate will be part of the Global ICG O&T Controls Team, partnering specifically with the O&T business. The team is responsible for leadership of the risk and control program across Legal Vehicle O&T to ensure a strong and consistent controls environment. **Key Responsibilities:** The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the timely and accurate production of a suite of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports containing multiple KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) and exception details from various sources across the organisation. The reporting is used by UK Senior Managers and Executive Committees for governance and management of their operational risks to ensure a robust controls environment and in meeting Regulatory requirements + Ensuring multiple key targets and deliverables are met whilst maintaining high standards in accuracy + Timely and accurate maintenance & collation of key control metrics for O&T including but not limited to: CAPs, Incidents, Audits, Losses/Gains, Near Miss, EUC, Information Security, Balance Sheet Exceptions, Trade Exceptions, Areas of Management Focus + Oversight of UK Legal Vehicle impacting OREs through ORE Central ensuring event reporting is accurate + Delivery of high quality reliable management information and reporting that may be used for various Control Forums such as; Operations Controls SteerCos, MBRs, SMRs (Senior Manager Regime), Legal Vehicle Governance, Audit Committee meetings, Business Risk & Control Committee, Executive Scorecards + Partner with O&T to ensure high standards in commentary needed for reports + Develop, maintain and continually enhance standard presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders + Ongoing monitoring of key risk indicators such as CAPs, EUCs, losses, audits, BSER, incidents, audit results, IBAM + Global Policies - contribute to initiatives to ensure policy compliance across O&T + On an ongoing basis assist O&T management in the identification of themes and trends from the MIS to ensure potential control issues are proactively addressed through reviews, MCA and/or CAP processes + Liaison with O&T LCO's & Controls Management and our other partners across the wider O&T organisation **Development Value:** + Exposure to a global, complex and fast-paced challenging environment + Exposure to multiple businesses across O&T + Exposure to organisations outside of O&T and within 2nd & 3rd lines of defence + Exposure to executive level management **Knowledge/Experience:** + Experience in O&T Operations and/or Controls in a reporting & data analytics position desired + Knowledge of O&T organisation preferred + Knowledge of risk and controls framework preferred + Proven ability to liaise & co-ordinate across numerous global and local teams and groups + Demonstrated ability to provide high quality reporting to senior and executive management **Competencies:** + Ability to meet new challenges and respond to urgent ad hoc requests + Ability to work as part of a team + Driven, resilient and tenacious, able to apply the learning from set-backs + Valuing diversity: demonstrate an appreciation of a diverse workforce. **Skills:** + Attention to detail & accuracy is essential + Expertise in MS Suite of Applications (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint) + Ability to develop and implement new MS Ex
