Job Description

Here at Glow we're on a mission to end relationship abuse, we're campaigning for change and providing support throughout Staffordshire and surrounding areas. We're looking for a Community Safe and Well Coach to join our domestic abuse support services, to work in the community to help our customers rebuild their lives after abuse. The ideal candidate will be someone who can support our customers in their own homes. Giving them practical and emotional support, preventing them from becoming isolated or feeling lonely after relationship abuse. You'll carry out risk assessments to address any safety concerns, like security and anti-social behaviour, and put solutions in place to keep our customers safe. Customers safety needs to be at the heart of everything you do so you'll need to communicate closely with the team and keep customer information accurate and up to date. Have a genuine understanding of people in abusive relationships with real compassion. You'll be their voice, so you'll need to have great communication skills to provide the very best support to keep them safe. This is a community-based role so you will need a vehicle suitable for business use, a full UK Driving Licence and you'll need a DBS check.
