Job Description
Are you a Neonatal Nurse who wants to develop leadership and management skills within a team? Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust, working as part of the Thames Valley and Wessex Neonatal Network has opportunities for Band 6 Neonatal Nurses to join our team. The neonatal unit in Winchester is designated as a local neonatal unit, we have 12 cots, 2 intensive care, 2 high dependency and 8 special care. Are you a Band 5/6 currently practicing as a neonatal nurse, have completed a neonatal intensive care course, teaching and mentorship qualification and have excellent standards of neonatal nursing practice and are looking for a change? Part of your role would be taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of the unit, discharge planning and supporting the nursery nurses on our recently opened transitional care unit.
