We'll support you throughout your career, so you can focus on providing quality treatments and advice to patients. Your responsibilities ... You will be responsible for performing all Dental Therapist duties and educating patients on oral health care. You will provide a range of oral / dental treatments to adults and children on prescription of a referring dentist. You may also examine and diagnose dental conditions within the scope of a Dental Therapist. * You will be registered with the GDC as a Dental Therapist * You must have the right to work in the UK More about the practice... * Albert Place has been a dental practice in Galashiels for over 90 years, it is situated in an old Victorian town house which is over 3 floors and is located around the corner from the town hall. * We have a mixture of NHS and Private patients 48/52 split and we also offer Practice Plan /Denplan and V12 finance. * We have busy diaries. * We are 5 minutes' walk from the train station and bus station so an easy commute to Edinburgh. * We have on street parking on nearby streets. * In the practice we have 4 surgeries which are all bright and airy with plenty of room to work. * At present we have 4 dentists, seeing a mix of NHS and Private. All dentist also offer choice to their NHS Patients private options. * Hygienist who works 1 day a week. * We have a Perio Specialist/ Implants, who visits us monthly and is receiving a good volume of referrals. * We have 5 Nurses * We have 3 receptionist We offer a wide range of private treatments from Invisalign Go , Facial Aesthetics, Complex Implants and Private Perio. * The town Galashiels is within the Scottish Borders which is a beautiful historic area. * It has many attractions including sporting- * Rugby many of a Scotland Player has been born in Galashiels or the surrounding area) * Football, Cricket, Fishing (famous Tweed River for Salmon and Trout) Mountain Biking, Horse Riding * Galashiels was initially a Textile Town producing Tweed, Cashmere and Woollens (Pringle of Scotland & Lyle & Scott) are a few of the famous names that produced in the Borders * We host Heriot Watt University which used to be Scottish College of Textiles which taught some famous designers. * Galashiels also Host some major supermarkets Asda, Tesco Extra, Marks & Spencer's and Next, as well as Tk Maxx.
