We are now looking for a Product Manager - Chat Applications with flexible location opportunities to support our channel development needs. The essence of the role You will play a key role in our Rich Messaging Product team to ensure Sinch gets access to the highest demanded OTT Messaging Services globally with a particular focus in the APAC market, such as KakaoTalk, Viber, WeChat, QQ, and Weibo. Coupled with this you will support the need for RCS reach influencing in region for Sinch access and general market adoption. You will be the market subject matter expert for Sinch in all Rich Messaging channels in region, and coordinate with some of the worlds largest brands to deliver their messages and services in the most effective way. You will support successful coordination and customer delivery for our market leading OTT services in region. We offer a challenging and dynamic role in a growth company with the opportunity to define and execute much of our delivery in Rich Messaging. This role reports to the Rich Messaging Product Director, based at our US HQ in Atlanta, US. As our Product Manager for Chat Applications you will: * Establish contacts at all the major OTT channel/application providers * Accountable for the product lifecycle and P&L for the channel * Provide / Present business cases * Excel in a customer facing role; Be the voice of the customer and represent needs * Well versed in the needs of developers for the channel * Manage delivery plans, risks, stakeholders * Deliver well documented, easy to consume plans * Coordinate between silo product managers to deliver a cohesive customer solution * Accountable to deliver global customer projects / services on time * Deliver exciting new messaging services to the largest enterprises in the world * Matrix manage global virtual teams in Sinch with our customers own complex teams * Communicate effectively internally on status, and own and challenges/issues * Lead and influence have strong conviction / influence skills internal and external Who are you? You have extensive experience from Saas, Messaging, Solution Development roles and a very good technical comprehension. You have influencing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of seniority. You are analytical and structured in your daily work with attention to detail. You have the ability to own your work and make informed decisions to make things happen. You are willing to take on more, be a part of the team, and support your peers In order to contribute to this role you: * Are a hybrid Product Manager / Business Development * Have previous SaaS, Messaging, Solution Development roles including Developer API experience * Have a very good technical comprehension; must establish technical credibility ASAP Big plus!
