Sales Order Processor / Estimator

We know that our people are our greatest asset and we are delighted to be growing our team further as we have an urgent requirement for a Sales Order Processor / Estimator to join our busy Estimating Team at our Birchwood Site in Alfreton. You will be joining a team of 4 in a well established Sales and Estimating department. You will contact our valued customers on a daily basis following up on quotations provided via the Estimating team, alongside creating more opportunities and business development. The role will also be responsible for analysing and processing customers purchase orders. A key element of the role is communication with our valued customers, keeping them informed of progress on both quotes and supply. DUTIES: * Source new business opportunities by cold calling external non-returning customers * Prepare accurate estimates and priced schedules for tender from architects drawings * Prepare and chase quotations * Liaise with customer buyer / site and Eurocell branches to ensure timely and accurate contract delivery * Handle customer sales & technical assistance request telephone calls * Revising quotations depending on customer feedback * Liaising with our branch network to ensure the delivery of materials to local and national customers * Handle any invoice queries * SAP - To obtain account product prices, group material stock availability and where necessary invoice details KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: * Experience of the building plastics industry * Knowledge of the window plastics / upvc * Experience with Administration / Sales Estimating * Good level of numeracy/literacy * Good communication skills (verbal and written) * Professional Telephone Manner * Closing and Negotiating experience * Ability to read/understand architectural drawings * Computer literate - Microsoft IT software-Word, Excel, Outlook * SAP experience BENEFITS: * You will be rewarded with an excellent salary * A solid career pathway and structured progression * Pension Plan * Employee discount on Eurocell products * Eurxtras - discounts across many well-known online and high street retailers (Technology, Fashion, Supermarkets, Entertainment, Days Out, Home and Travel) * Shares - the option to join a share save scheme and share in the company success * Life assurance * Free parking * A blend of training, including e-learning and on the job training to help your career development About Eurocell A stock market listed Plc and winner of the National Recycling Award for Manufacturer of the Year 2018.
