Case Manager

Job Purpose Pro Insurance currently has new opportunities for Disease Claims Case Manager to join the wider Claims team in Glasgow or London. These roles will be to take on a caseload of technically complex disease-based Claims from one of our clients. Responsibilities include: We are looking for a reliable, accurate and accountable person who can complete the following responsibilities: * Investigate and negotiate both lead and follow disease claims through the claims handling process. * Provide technical advice and guidance to internal colleagues and act as a referral point * Liaise with external clients and build client relationships. * Enhance the ability of the team to perform through quality audits, regular coaching and feedback * Contribute to and manage projects relevant to EL/PL Disease Claims * Completing tasks within agreed SLAs and timescales Skills and Experience * Experience of EL/PL disease claims handling is essential, including but not limited to Lung Cancer, Mesothelioma, care, stress, Asbestos and food poisoning. * Knowledge of policy interpretation, claims handling, quality assurance, fraud and impacting legislation in respect of own business unit or discipline at a level which enables the provision of strategic decision making and direction * A professional individual who is able to communicate with a variety of customers and experience with high value/profile claims handling. * Ability to work in a pressurised environment. * Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines. * Maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues. * Coaching/mentoring skills would be advantageous.
