Complex Case Worker

CGL Stockport provides an Early Intervention and Recovery Services across the borough. An opportunity has arisen for a VPI Complex Case worker to join our service. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a brand new team. The VIP project has expanded to do a specific piece of work with Adult Social Care - this is known as the VIP Front Door provision. The expectation is that this will create quicker accesses to relevant services for the individual, meaning that they can get access to substance misuse support immediately. We are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join our team. The post holder will carry a small caseload of highly complex individuals who are drinking alcohol or using substances, and face barriers to engaging with mainstream provision. VIP aims to address these barriers in order to support the individual to engage in service provision that can meet their needs, leading to better long term outcomes and meaningful change. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the appropriate level of service delivery and you be required to work over a number of bases within Stockport as per service need.
