Job Description
What's Involved? We are looking for a volunteer to support the Community Fundraiser for Birmingham. This is a flexible role and duties will vary depending on local need, and your skills and interests, but will include tasks such as researching new fundraising prospects throughout Coventry, speaking to supporters, promoting the work of Alzheimer's Society and attending and supporting events. Time commitment is flexible and dependent on local need; however we do hope that you could offer a few hours per fortnight. This role can be carried out from home, and you will be supported by the Community Fundraiser. This role will suit you if you.... * Have an interest in fundraising, events and/or marketing * Have good verbal and written communication skills * Have good IT skills * Are able to carry out tasks efficiently, with close attention to detail. The impact you'll make... Regional fundraising is at the very centre of how we raise vital funds at a local level. The money we raise funds the delivery of universal services that include our website and National Dementia Helpline, as well as the services we provide locally such as dementia cafes and Singing for the Brain®. It also helps to fund research into care for today and a cure for tomorrow, and our campaigning work.
