Job Description

Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience. + Experience in cloud computing, including one or more of the following: Public/Private Cloud, Compute/Storage/Networking, Software/Platform/Infrastructure-as-a-Service. + Experience in a customer- or partner-facing technical role, such as Technical Solution Architect, Sales/Customer Engineer, or similar. Preferred qualifications: + Experience in architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed enterprise systems, including cloud deployments. + Knowledge in DevOps, in the context of containers (e.g., Kubernetes), automated IT infrastructure (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Terraform) and cloud application monitoring and debugging tools. + Ability to form strong working relationships across technical and business functions in multiple companies. + Ability to design and develop toolchains and integrations between Google products and third parties. + Excellent communication skills. + Programming skills in Java, Python or Go. As an ISV Solutions Architect, you'll inspire and enable leading Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) partners to scale the growth and impact of Google by solving the world's most challenging problems. You will build strong relationships within all levels of our partners' engineering executives, including Heads of engineering and Heads of infrastructure. You'll become a trusted advisor to design, build, and certify detailed reference architectures. that maximize the advantages of Google Cloud, meet their technical requirements, and solve their business challenges.You'll troubleshoot issues and help partners find innovative solutions to technical problems, including and curation of reusable product demonstrations and PoCs (proof-of-concepts), coordinating other teams at Google where required. And our teams are dedicated to helping our customers and developers see the benefits of our technology come to life. + Lead deep technical discussions and workshops to develop detailed reference architectures and resolve technical issues. + Build a broad technical familiarity and practical ISV-centric experience within different products and services within Google Cloud, especially including Cloud Compute, Google Kubernetes Engine, DevOps, storage services and networking. Create and curate reusable reference architectures, demonstrations, and PoCs. + Advocate on behalf of partners to their customers and enable internal teams to deploy ISV solutions in their customer's environment. + Coordinate and influence internal teams to deliver partner's needs, including providing partner feedback to Product and Engineering teams to help define product direction and resolve partners' technical roadblocks. + Be an advocate of the Google Cloud Platform to the ISV ecosystem through events and online.
