Electrical Technician West Bromwich £25,400 + Up to £2,000 Skills Bonus & Call Out Allowance after 6 /9 Months + 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Stakeholder Pension + Life Assurance + Paid Sick Scheme + Occasional Overtime. Days based role, 38 hour weeks (occasional voluntary paid overtime) An Electrical Technician is required for a very well established and stable company with a wealth of experience within their sector. Excellent training will be given with this role. The Electrical Technician will need to have an electrical qualification to at least Level 3 City & Guilds (or equivalent) & those from maintenance, commercial and/or industrial backgrounds will be suited. Training will be provided on all equipment. The Electrical Technician role involves both PPM and reactive maintenance of 3 phase equipment, invertors, motors, pumps and lighting. You will also undergo visual and more detailed inspections of equipment within the factory to establish maintenance schedules. Working in hazardous areas you will need to be aware of industry regulations in which full training will be provided. A lot of the work you will undergo will be on cherry pickers/scissor lifts, and those with experience / qualifications with working at heights will be beneficial.
