Role Type Central Support Country United Kingdom Address / location of vacancy Healthcare Service Centre, Whittle Road, Meir Park, Stoke-on-Trent, ST3 7UN Full / Part Time Full Time Contract type Permanent Hours 39 Hours Per Week Job description Job Title: Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) Salary: 10.11 Per Hour + 2.00 Accuracy Checking Supplement Contract: Permanent Work Pattern: 39 Hours Per Week Location: Meir Park, Stoke-on-Trent As our Accuracy Checking Technician you will join our fantastic Digital Pharmacy team, where you will be at the forefront of the digital revolution in community pharmacy! Our digital dispensary is based in our National Distribution Centre where you will have an opportunity to see different aspects of the business that would not normally be seen when working in a standard Community Pharmacy. In this role you will be instrumental to delivering Hub and Spoke to our stores, as you liaise with the Store Teams and Central Fulfilment colleagues. You will use your in-depth pharmacy knowledge and experience to help deliver the high standard of service expected by our customers while you learn, develop and grow along with us! What you'll do: * Manage the efficient and effective running of the dispensary to the required standards within the "Safe and Well" framework * Maintain the required levels of competence in the dispensary * Maintain the day to day relationship with GPs, practice managers and receptionists * Maintain the day to day relationship with CCT Pharmacies and the Central Team * Build relationships with customers and colleagues across the business. * Promote tailored healthcare services/plans/advice/product recommendations for our Customers and deliver those they can be accredited for * Deliver the Operating Model in MPP * Complete and progress with your own professional development. * Manages the dispensing process to the SOP and guidance in the operational resource pack * Prioritises workload and awareness of wider store environment * Takes action to deliver on Customer needs * Deliver best in class GPhC standards (Online, Dispensing, Administration) * Identifies and resolves issues with Customers and refers to the Pharmacist as required * Completes required training (inc. CPD training to clinical standards) * Manages professional advice and health care relationship (GPs / surgeries) * Manages the dispensary effectively and efficiently (profit protection and process optimisation) * Deputises for pharmacist as required * Completes Rx accuracy checks Key knowledge and skills required for the role: * Experienced in the role of ACT and gained the Accuracy Checking Technician qualification. * Registration with the GPhC * Ability to effectively plan own time and demonstrate strong organisational skills even when under pressure * Attention to detail * Strong customer service skills including an ability to adapt personal style to meet the needs of differing customers * Ongoing CPD * Excellent communication skills In return we can offer you: * Competitive salary * Excellent training & development opportunities * Easy, free and secure on-site parking * On-site canteen * Paid Holidays * Workplace pension scheme * Staff Discount * Travel Loans and more...
