What you'll do This is an exciting opportunity to join Embark part way through its evolution and to support through an ongoing time of change. Forming the foundation of the HR Team, this role supports all aspects of the department. In your role as a HR Assistant , you be responsible for administration tasks of recruitment, onboarding, inductions and the leaver process. This is a key role in setting the standards of the department to new entrants and ensuring a professional approach to departures to help maintain a positive alumni. Key Accountabilities * Support the HR Coordinator in providing first line employee and manager guidance relating to HR processes and broad HR Generalist queries * Deliver HR administration tasks to support employee life cycle, including starter processes and inductions, internal changes and leaver processes * Complete pre-employment screening for all new starters, to include referencing, right to work and qualification checks * Support recruitment and learning activity across the Group * Day to day management of HR and Recruitment mailboxes * Support with note taking for HR requirements and casework * Ensure role profiles, competencies and HR records are maintained (digital and hard copy) accurately and in line with our ongoing data protection requirements * Ensure HR compliance requirements being met, escalating where issues are evidenced * Support the HR team and internal comms team to collate information for group-wide communications * Support HR colleagues with strategic and operational projects.
