Job Description

DevOps Engineer required to join our team, working with a talented team delivering groundbreaking products. This position is working from home but long term the team are based in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will be an innovative problem solver, passionate about delivering solutions and an enthusiastic team player. Excellent communication skills are a must, as we work within cross-discipline teams and with various stakeholders. Technically speaking, strong experience in cloud technologies, automation, APIs and security-related fields is a must. What you will be doing: * Leveraging the latest cloud technologies to deliver solutions on time and in budget. * Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. * Configuring CI & CD pipelines. * Managing cloud infrastructure. * Monitoring and the remediation of live services. * Designing and implementing web APIs. Skills we are looking for * AWS infrastructure and services * AWS Cloudformation, CDK and/or Terraform * Competent in scripting languages - TypeScript, JS, Python * Continuous integration and deployment methodologies (Jenkins) * Git * Jira * Agile methodologies * Full software development lifecycle * Mentorship/leadership skills * Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks (nice to have) The Team Waracle is an unconventional company - we like to think out of the box and we want staff who do too.
