Line Leader (Tablet and Capsule Production) THG's primary focus is health, beauty, prestige and sports nutrition related consumer goods. THG is looking to recruit Technical Operators for our Tablet and Capsule Production Team based in Warrington (Burtonwood). Shift Pattern is 7 DAYS / 14 OR 7 NIGHTS / 14: 12 hour alternating shifts FIXED DAYS = 06.00 AM TO 18.00 PM FIXED NIGHTS = 18:00 PM till 06.00 AM Main Job Purpose: You will be working in our production facility, managing a team that is operating complex equipment on our Tablet and Capsule production line and High speed packaging lines. You will be required to ensure that the team is * Trained in and delivering against the performance objectives of pill press and capsule * Able to perform product changeovers to meet best proven practice. You will be required to deliver a daily/weekly production plan which will mean working with planning team and operators on the line to ensure KPIs are in line with expectations and that all daily line performance boards are fully maintained. You will be required to compile and deliver reports to management and to raise any issues or concerns where required regarding quality or productivity. Your staff will be trained to carry out a range of functions including: * Capsule Filling, Rotary Tablet machine, QC testing (Pills), Sample Lines, Tub Line, Pill Lines 1,2,3 & Multi Head Weigher. You will need to ensure that your team * Sets up the manufacturing equipment and process safely and efficiently. * Ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing operation * Conduct QC tests disintegration, friability, hardness, weight variability & appearance * Ensure we can achieve our KPIs and targets. * Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained * Ensure the area meets required GMP hygiene standards * Maintain and sustain right first-time batch culture, by following BOM's and weighing out correctly. * Ensure all waste management measures are being adhered to.
