Job Description
Training Coordinator Role Based in South West £25k-£29k salary + benefits Job Description: In this position you will be responsible for alerting the site Leadership Team of any actual or potential risks to the business in relation to gaps in mandatory training and to seek their support to reduce and remove the areas of risk. It will be your responsibility to ensure all off the job training requirements are compliant, which include the delivery of the Group Induction and Induction Refreshers, Food safety, Listeria, HACCP, to book and coordinate internal and external courses ensuring cost efficiency at all times and to ensure all training facilities and resources and maintained in good professional order. The role will require maintaining a digital learning and development system, ensuring role profiles are kept up to date with training requirements. You will need to ensure all site managers are trained to use the system and do so in a timely and appropriate manner to co-ordinate, deliver, record and plan their own 'On the Job' training requirements. You will be required to audit managers to ensure 'On the Job' training is being recorded and participate in site audits. It will be the Training Coordinators responsibility to ensure all relevant processes and procedures relating to Training budget expenditure are followed, whilst monitoring the spend to ensure training remains within budget. The ideal candidate will be an expert in best-practice factory training in a food manufacturing environment. You should enjoy working collaboratively, be able to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business, adopt resilience, work at a fast pace whilst prioritising through exception organisation and planning. An understanding of Codes of Practice, BRC 8 and the SHE and Technical agenda is essential, as well as a good level of competency with all Microsoft products and experience of working with digital systems (such as Papaya, Learner Plus, Skype and SharePoint). Your accredited qualifications should include: Food Safety Level 3 and a recognised training qualification.
