Job Description
Position - Registered Care Home Manager Location - Colchester Salary - £38,000 plus bonus Hours - 35 per week. 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday Why work here - This company's aim is to support, nurture and guide children and young people aged 11-18 in a residential setting, to become independent and healthy young adults. They provide on-site educational support, emergency intervention and therapy services. They make provisions for children with a background including neglect and abuse with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Great care is taken to make the service feel like a home with a culture that reinforces self-esteem, feeling of belonging and aspirations. They deliver ongoing support of children with their present underlying difficulties, including off-site intervention, whilst placing an importance on their long-term goals, serving to plan for their future. About the Service - This is a brand new, 5 bed children's home going through Ofsted registration and due to open around September so is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Manager to be fully involved with the recruitment and ongoing training of a new team of Deputys, Team Leaders and Residential Children's Workers. Type of person required - We are looking for an experienced Children's Registered Manager with good knowledge of Ofsted regulations. Hours as stated are 9am to 5pm although flexibility is required to be available should any issues arise outside these times. Experience and qualifications - NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in children's care homes Benefits - All on the job food provided. 28 Days holiday including banks.
