Are you a social media expert? Have you got a demonstrable track record of producing high quality, engaging and effective online marketing content? If this is you then this could be the career opportunity for you. We're on the look out for a Social Media Executive to join a well-established, local business, which is involved in retail, property management and hospitality. Your role will be to develop and implement a social media and online strategy that gets results. Your new job * Develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement * Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram * Plan content and delivery and use social media tools to manage multiple social media channels * Develop and manage competitions and campaigns that promote products, offers and sales * Write engaging blog posts and articles * Update and refresh website content * Create engaging multimedia content * Build and retain a loyal customer following across all social media channels * Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics * Maintain and enhance online conversation through active and engaging content * Liaise with management and buying / merchandising teams to see we products need to be promoted * Develop innovative and creative social activity such as Instagram stories, Facebook lives, content shoots and events * Keep up to date with competitors, influencers and the latest social trends * Customer loyalty management * Maintain mailing database (on and offline marketing) Requirements About you * Demonstrable experience in social media * Excellent communication, editing, writing and grammar skills in relation to optimised copy for social and the web * Experience working with all social medial channels and an understanding of how brands are using these channels to promote awareness and revenue * Creative but commercially aware * Organisational skills with ability to work to tight guidelines * An eye for detail * Experience within a retail business (furniture, electricals, carpets etc) * Someone who is flexible and can help in other areas when needed Benefits Salary and benefits * £18,000 to £20,000 per year (could be negotiable for the right person) * Full time (5 days per week which includes Saturdays) 37.5 hours per week * Permanent job, direct with the employer * Auto enrolment pension * Staff discount scheme * 28 days' holiday entitlement * Free car parking
