Job Description
Data Engineer £50,000 Wrexham ShortList Recruitment are looking for a Data Engineer to join one of our industry-leading clients based in Wrexham to aid an exciting period of growth for their Technology team. Reporting into the Head of Data, the Data Engineer will be responsible for executing data migration from MySQL to Microsoft SQL with Integration Services, and be tasked with designing and developing data architecture for data warehouses. A strong background in SQL Server, SSIS, ETL and experience working on Power BI is required, as well as a dedication to data culture and wanting to continue to improve and work with new technologies. Experience in AWS and Redshift would be desirable. Essential skills for the Data Engineer: * Data Warehousing * ETL * SSIS/SSRS experience * Strong background in SQL Server * Power BI * MySQL, MS SQL * Microsoft BI Stack experience * Exposure to AWS * Exposure to Redshift * Degree educated (Mathematics or related subject) The successful Data Engineer will be entitled to a £50,000 salary (DOE) + an excellent range of company benefits including free on-site parking and generous annual leave package.
