Overview
Job Description
A part time Personal Assistant/support worker is required in Hambleton, near Selby, to support a family man with multiple sclerosis. The role will include personal care; cooking & preparing food; & accompanying out & about in the community. Up to 11 hours a week on evenings (Mondays to Saturdays) from 8pm - 9pm; Mondays from 9am - 2pm; with additional flexible shifts as and when needed (possibly Sunday morning for an hour); and occasional overnights. You need to be: Fun & chatty Positive & respectful with a 'can do' attitude Gentle & kind Open, reliable, committed & honest Flexible & able to use your own initiative Respectful of personal privacy and able to work in a highly confidential manner Positive towards disability Car driver Tasks will include helping with: Personal Care Physio exercises Preparing meals Rewards Induction training Practical training as necessary A warm and friendly family environment Employment Type: PART_TIME
