Job Description

Web Designer £25k - £30k (dep on experience), pension. 20 days holiday per year. The Company Our Client is the UK's leading telephone answering company. A 24/7 365 days a year service operation based out of a newly modernised Call Centre in the heart of Nottingham's City Centre. As part of their continued growth and expansion we are looking to bring in house the management and development of our three company websites. The Role Developing, designing and optimising existing company websites on WordPress, Perch and proprietary CMS systems, so experience of these website and content management platforms will be important. Experience with HTML, HTML5, XHTML, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS will be useful. An understanding of the latest on-site/on-page search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques, conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and user experience (UX) is also preferable. Further experience with Google PPC campaign development encapsulating Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), market research and campaign optimisation multi-site would be an advantage, along with an understanding of social media engagement techniques and community building strategies across multiple platforms. Part of the role will also involve working with Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics along with marketing software including MOZ and Raven Tools. The Person * 2+ years of website building / design experience. * A passion to develop skills and learn new technologies. * A good knowledge of WordPress / Perch as well as further development of existing proprietary CMS systems. * Website / Graphic design skills using Photoshop. * Understanding of SEO, social media & other web marketing tools. * An Appreciation of User Experience (UX) when designing web pages. * Hand code HTML and CSS and create great looking pages. * Good understanding of marketing skills and ideas
