Electrical CAD Technician

Job Description
An Electrical CAD Technician is required to join the busy design department, an ICP who design and build upgrades or connections to the electrical network across a number of sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving company. This position will provide drawing and design support for the electrical engineers within the Electrical and Protection department that can range from involvement in generating single line, multi-core schematic, block protection, LVAC switch board system with cable sizing, earthing drawings etc. The role is based at the Head Office close to Milton Keynes but occasional site visits to projects around the UK may be required as and where necessary. The candidate should have full working knowledge and abilities with AutoDesk AutoCAD gained within an electrical related environment. Some AutoDesk Revit abilities and experience with Microsoft Office products Word and Excel would also be favourably received although not essential. The position offers an excellent opportunity for existing CAD technicians or electrically related graduates. A competitive salary and package based on experience is available. The Package includes: * Based in Olney, Buckinghamshire * Full time salary * 25 days holiday in addition to statutory (includes some compulsory days) * Pension (matches individual's contribution up to a maximum of 4%) * Death in Service (4 x salary) * Company bonus at Directors discretion * 40 hour working week (Note the above is based on full time employment. Whilst not ideal part time may be accepted for the right candidate in which case the above would be on a pro-rata basis)
