Job Description

In order to apply for this position, we are looking for experienced Economists who can demonstrate the following skills: Problem solving and analytical skills * Confidence with basic statistical and econometric concepts. * Able to solve problems defined by managers and confident to move away from remit when appropriate. * Confidence to question established views and contribute original ideas. Implementation and delivery * Able to work independently of others, to provide outputs to deadline, and of a consistently high quality, and to take responsibility for discrete pieces of work * Able to prioritise tasks, and to use initiative when problems occur. Team work * Good interpersonal skills and willingness to learn from more experienced colleagues. * Desire to pro-actively find out about the whole project. * Ability to pass knowledge onto less experienced colleagues. Communication skills * Written work should be logically structured and clear and it should require only minor alterations before sending to clients. * Confidence to make contributions to internal and selective client meetings, and to be able to communicate ideas to clients in a concise and professional manner. Consulting skills * Able to form commercial conclusions based on the results of work and to see the interesting story or angle from the perspective of the client and/or Frontier * Contribution to development ideas with colleagues and managers. * Able to build client relationships and to support clients on day-to-day matters.
