You're the type of person who can admit there's always more to learn, and more to improve. You're a thoughtful individual who cares about their teammates and knows when to be supportive. You know what you're doing and aren't afraid to say what needs to be done. As an accomplished PHP developer, you'll have a taste for agency life. You'll have used CMS's such as Wordpress or Drupal or frameworks like Symfony or Laravel. You'll understand the importance of keeping code well organised and code readability will be a minor obsession. Although the focus of this role will be PHP, there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved in other technologies and projects. As such, anything else you can bring to the table will help your application. Here are a few things we play with on a daily basis: * PHP * Drupal 7 and 8 * Go, Python, Ruby or Node.js * REST and SOAP APIs * MySQL databases * Git, GitHub, GitLab, Git anything really. This is a role for an individual that wants to be able to make a big contribution to a small business, and be rewarded for success. In addition to client project work, this role will come with the opportunity to create and develop agency products, so you'll need to be creative and insightful. Where is the job based? We're looking for someone to work from our Manchester office. Is this full time? Yes, we'll expect someone who can give us 37.5 hours a week. How much experience do I need? We want someone who can hit the ground running, so ideally 4 years commercial experience. At least part of this should be agency-based. What does the role pay? Up to 40k per year.
