Job Description

We are looking for a driven Junior Social Media Executive to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users. Our Client is an award winning Branding agency based in Birmingham. As a Junior Social Media Executive, you will support the multi-disciplinary cluster comprising of marketing communications, PR, digital and social media. You will help facilitate the delivery and measurement of effective social media content plans and campaigns that span across all social media platforms and will ensure best practice, oversee quality, and promote integrated storytelling in order to deliver greater reach, engagement and ROI for the agency`s clients. On a day to day basis, responsibilities include: Develop, implement and manage social media strategy for both clients and agency Define most important social media KPIs Manage and oversee social media content Schedule content in advance and define monthly strategy plans / ideas Measure the success of campaigns Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies Use social media marketing tools Attend client meetings when required Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing Collaborate with all inhouse teams Monitor SEO and user engagement to suggest content optimisation Communicate / Reach out to prospects and industry professionals / influencers via social media to create a strong network Attend the companys' network events to promote business interests and to forge new business relationships Must Have: A minimum of 18 months Social Media Executive experience Experience of paid social activity is essential Experience working within a B2B marketing agency Excellent writing, editorial, proofreading and content creation skills across multiple channels, from tweets and blogs to client and campaign proposals Creative and conceptual skills - able to come up with engaging social topics, post formats and competitions Proven ability to devise and drive strategies across a variety of Social media platforms Experience of using a range of social media scheduling tools Proven ability to translate brand strategy into engaging content
