Technical Account Manager (BMS / HVAC) Home Based role with various sites across London and South East. Comfort Controls is a leading building management controls specialist, manufacturer, installer of motor control centres and electrical contractor. We deliver contracts of all sizes to an impressive portfolio of high-profile and loyal clients within a broad range of sectors, including IT / Data Warehousing, Health, Education, Government, Military and Retail sectors. Position: Technical Account Manager - BMS / HVAC Location: Home-based, various sites across London and South East Job type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: 55,000 basic plus Bonus, Pension, Car, Laptop etc. About the role: The primary focus of this role is to develop incremental business with existing major accounts (end users and mechanical contractors) and increase revenue from other existing accounts with strong potential but with whom relationships have not yet fully realised. This is an excellent opportunity to manage sales across a wide variety of specialist projects within an industry leading company in the exciting and fast-moving BMS / HVAC sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression. Our head office is in Hemel Hempstead, but this role is a predominantly home-based role and will require you to work on sites across London, the home counties and the South East of England. About you: - A passion for the BMS / HVAC industry and the drive, determination to succeed in this highly competitive industry. - Strong experience in estimating and scoping jobs within the BMS controls sector. This can be in either a sales or technical capacity. In the latter instance, full sales training would be given. - Strong knowledge of Trend, Schneider, Siemens or Tridium would be an advantage although full training would be given where necessary. - A good understanding of Electrical Installation (Power and Controls) and Control Panels to facilitate estimating. - A solid understanding of HVAC Applications. - The ability to forge strong working relationships with building contractors, consultants and end-users using a highly consultative approach. - The skills to establish client confidence and exceed their expectations through the innovative creation of technically and financially viable solutions. - The ability to lead complex sales processes and collaborating closely with the project & installation teams. - The availability to travel to client-sites weekly throughout the South East of England (South Coast, London & home counties, Oxford, Bedford). - A high degree of flexibility and the ability to work from home. - A full driving licence.
