2nd Line Support Engineer Wrexham 28,000 ShortList Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a well-established IT Services Provider in Wrexham. Our client has been providing IT support for over 30 years, they hold a reputation for delivering support through their friendly, expert engineers. This position is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Help desk Analyst or Support Analyst who wants to join a busy, exciting team, in a business that has ambitious future plans. Typical responsibilities for the 2nd Line Support Engineer will be: * Providing excellent customer service at all times * Taking escalated calls from customers around the UK * Remotely accessing customer environments and carry out fault diagnostics * Preparing and building customer equipment as required * Running daily checks on back ups and carrying out maintenance on customer environments The successful 2nd Line Support Engineer will have prior experience in a busy help desk environment and have commercial experience in areas such as: * Active Directory * Microsoft Exchange * Windows 10 * Office 365 * VMware and Citrix administration * Network fault finding and diagnostics * Network cabling and patching * Backup technologies * Experience with VOIP In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to 28K + attractive progression opportunity. This position is based in Wrexham and is commutable by car from Chester, Oswestry, Chirk, Mold and Whitchurch.
