Job Description

Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices We are looking for a strong Java Developer with experience in developing distributed systems (Microservices) within an Agile environment to join a global project at Tier 1 Bank. Starting date 11 or 15 of March. The projects technical stack will be Java 8, Spring Boot, AWS, Docker and Kubertenes. You will work as a Senior Java Developer with real input into the end solution alongside a Java Tech Lead. If you are a Java Developer with a passion for engineering complex distributed cloud systems and modern automated engineering practices you will love this position You need to be great at: * Proven commercial Java8 Development experience * Proven commercial Spring Boot experience * Proven commercial experience with Microservices * Experience of working in an Agile environment * Commercial experience of writing acceptance test and understanding BDD and TDD (Cucumber and Junit preferred) And if you know some of this even better! * Polished communication and interpersonal skills * Experience in continuous delivery is nice to have but not essential * Experience with Spring Cloud and Netflix libraries This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK's leading organisations, working on high level and business critical projects.
