Pre-school nursery teacher required for a new nursery in Wimbledon This is an exciting opportunity to join a small friendly team in a lovely open and airy setting. The nursery is set within a stunning development close to the river & with easy travel routes It's essential that candidates come from a current nursery background and have a BA in Early Years childcare as a minimum. Ideally you would hold a QTS and have experience as a preschool teacher in a modern setting from within the EU. All applicants with non UK qualifications will have needed to complete the NARIC process before application. Please see our criteria below.... * Passionate about teaching and developing young minds * An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and childhood development * At least 4 years' experience working in a pre-school setting * First aid training * Training on Prevent, FGM and child protection * A clear & current DBS (Criminal record / police check) or equivalent if from within the EU. * A strong commitment to children's development and welfare * Excellent written & verbal communication skills * A full check-able work history * The position is based in a private nursery and will be covering shifts over a 5-day working week and for 45 hours per week minus breaks. The client offers training towards your CPD and career progression. Your application will be subject to safeguarding procedures and a fully checkable work history will be required and a current clear DBS.
