PHS Vacancy 1529 Our returning clients, are looking to replace their Live In Housekeeper / Cook who has been employed by their family for 5 years. The reason for the change is that the current housekeeper has decided to change her working environment and opted for a live out position. The property is a large 6 bedroom home with a separate gate house on site for the housekeeper / cook. Position Details: Full Time / Permanent Live in (separate accommodation provided) Days: Tuesday - Saturday Hours: 08.00 - 20.00 (with a long lunch break) Salary: Approx 3,000.00 GBP / Month Gross Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the employer is looking to hire new staff only after all restrictions are lifted. You may also be required to undergo a 14 day quarantine as well as go through some health checks prior to starting employment (paid for by the employer). The duties and responsibilities of the Housekeeper Cook are the usual maintenance of high standards of cleanliness. Duties: - Dusting - Mopping Floors - Hoovering - Deep cleaning - Dishes - Laundry - Ironing - Cooking The cooking aspect aspect of the vacancy will be to cook good home made food. There are no strict diet requirements but basic home cooking using fresh ingredients which are delivered to the property. Occasionally the principal will entertain guests but a catering service is usually used on these occasions however, you will be required to assist with meeting and greeting guests as well as the cleaning up following the event. The principals travel during three times / year. During this time you will be required to stay sole charge of the property. The accommodation provided is your own private cottage located 100m from the main home. There are other staff working at the property.
