About The Role This role will feed into the business strategy for the Technology Operations & Application objectives and you'll join us on a full time and permanent basis in our Barbican office. You'll work closely with the Technology and internal teams like the Finance & People teams to support, maintain & continuously improve their Systems, Databases & Integrations. Your Responsibilities * Manage SQL Server backups, patching and scheduled SQL Server jobs, identifying job failures and communicating to key stakeholders * Enforce SQL Server security including the co-ordination and implementation of security measures to safeguard information in databases * Support and contribution to data warehousing, analysis services, Power BI and Jet Admin * Be able to see the end-to-end system, understand constraints and bottlenecks and be able to work out how process can be simplified, interactions can be automated * Perform day to day system administration (such as New user and companies' setup, Application system/platform upgrades, troubleshooting, etc.) of both SQL Server and finance systems * Support Finance team during payment runs and month/year end Your Skills & Experience * Extensive experience administering and managing Microsoft SQL database technologies * Report Config (SQL Server Report Builder) and Power BI experience is ideal but not essential * Jet Admin * Supplier relationship management * Ability to convey technical terms to non-technical people * Experience of working with Finance departments and applications
