Job Description

We're looking for a highly skilled recording engineer/programmer to help us produce promotional material and live track support for our artists across the globe. Our artists include Original Artists, Function Bands, Tribute Bands, and Classical Ensembles. The ideal candidate must be: * Excellent and competent with Logic Pro. * Sufficiently creative to arrange pop songs in different genres (For example, 'A swing version of George Ezra's 'Shotgun'' as well as their original genre. * Knowledgable and competent on VSTi's and other supporting software. * In possession of basic keyboard/piano skills in order to programme to a very high standard. * Able to work independently for long periods (unsupervised) * Able to work as part of a small team with a direct line manager * Able to encourage and draw the best out of performers in the studio environment Ideally (though not essentially), the candidate will: * Be a multi-instrumentalist * Enjoy performing live * Be able to sing for the purposes of backing vocals and guide vocal tracks The role is based in Nottingham but there is opportunity to work remotely for the right candidate. The post will also include some international travel. The contract is a 12 month contract which will be awarded after a successful 28 day (paid) trial period. There may be an opportunity to convert the role to a permanent post after 12 months for the right candidate. Our business is a small boutique music management company based in the East Midlands but active across the globe. We have 12 full time employees. Hours : 40hrs a week (Flexible Hours) Salary: Negotiable (25-28.5k) - Depending on experience Employment Type: TEMPORARY
