Job Title: Electrical Technician in Pre Assembly Ref No: Project: Sea Made Location: (asset name) Rotation: 2/2 Days & Nights Duration: September Start Date: 17/06/2020 Worleyis currently recruiting for a Pre-Assembly Technician for a Fixed Term until September. We are looking for a highlymotivatedcandidate to join our onshore team on the Pre Assembly site of Seamade. Key aims and objectives: + Assist Advanced and Senior technicians to manage project requirements on site, to carry out work scopes in line with project requirements and all project documentation (e.g. RAMS, Workpacks, NOA) + Interpret instructions and issues arising; implement actions according to relevant policies and procedures + Ensure customer satisfaction whilst looking after the companies best interests at the same time + Carry out all tasks relevant to role safely, efficiently and accurately. Role Requirements: Planning: + Ensure tools have been maintained. + Liaising with Project Engineers to ensure all planning requirements have been met for each project prior to and during project delivery. + Ensure all planning requirements have been met for each project Technical Support: + Assist Supervisors, team lead and other team members to ensure project delivery Health & Safety: + Promote and encourage hazard observation reporting + Ensure safe working practices are always adhered to + Attend and deliver tool box talks, ensuring that everyone understands and complies with safety requirements Quality: + Ensure the continuous skill and performance of Worley technicians at all times All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & certification: + To have and be able to provide evidence of superior knowledge and experience of working on WTG construction, service, pre-assembly or commissioning + Hold all relevant certificates for working offshore + Hold an electricians qualification Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience: Skills: + Ability to organise and prioritise and effectively balance multiple priorities + Effective communication, organisation and presentation skills + Ability to manage teams effectively with a positive attitude + Be able to motivate and encourage colleagues + Good attention to detail. + The ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines and handle multiple priorities. + Good Analytical and PC skills, including but not limited to full Microsoft office suit i.e. Word, Excel etc. + Relevant industry specific qualifications - Siemens or Vestas levels. Experience: + Rigging activities + Slinging/Banksman duties + Operation of heavy torque tooling + Extensive pre-assembly experience Other Competencies: + Able to organize and work with minimal supervision. + Well-presented and business-like + Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. + Self-starter with a proactive approach in taking work issues forward. + Able to get on with others and be a team-player + Level of fitness sufficient to conduct climbing or other operations as required *Certain benefits are not applicable to employees who reside outside of the UK *As a people business we support flexible working and champion diversity and inclusion at all levels.
