Job Description

Looking for a Social Worker to join a team in Truro 37 Hours per week. Contract position. We require a qualified, experienced Principal Social Worker to join our Family Plus Team in Truro whilst we recruit to the role. The successful candidate should have experience of working in a Adoption and Permanence Team and can demonstrate they have the specialist knowledge of attachment and PACE and post order support needs and can model this with families. It is essential to have the child care award or equivalent post qualifying award at M level. Experience of adoption and SGO post order support, therapeutic approach towards working with families and works well under pressure and have excellent recording skills. Desirable - A Therapeutic qualification - eg DDP, Theraplay, play therapy, therapeutic life story work, music/drama/art therapy, therapeutic social work qualification or equivalent, experience of using Mosaic and working in a multi-disciplinary team. Skills Ability to deputise for the Team Manager on specified occasions Ability to manage and be accountable, with supervision / support, for your own social work practice within your organisation Ability to manage risk to individuals, families, carers, groups, communities, self and colleagues Ability to support the development of less experienced staff within the team Able to deliver an assessment care management service to a specific client group Able to plan/carry out/review and evaluate social work practice/with individuals/families/carers/groups/communities Able to practice in accordance with National Occupational Standards for Social Work/Code of Practice for Social Care Workers Able to prepare for, and work with individuals/families/carers/groups and communities to assess their needs and circumstances Able to provide an enhanced level of skill and expertise within their practice Why Choose us?????? * Daily Payroll * Have access to jobs with over 100 clients nationwide * 1st Tier Agency * Your own consultant * Find your own job BONUS up to £1000 * Refer a friend BONUS * Free DBS Service
