**Global Markets & Security Services Operations Control - AML Sanctions & Payments Governance Officer** Global Markets Operations Control - AML, Payments Sanctions Governance Senior Working alongside our existing Governance team, the goal of the AML & Sanctions Governance Team is to co-ordinate, provide guidance and advice in relation to the implementation of AML Transaction Monitoring and conformance with the Global Sanctions Operating Model across Global ICG Markets Operations. The incumbent shall also be responsible for the creation of a best in class manual payments processing governance framework Working in partnership with the Global Sanctions Compliance, AML and other Control organizations, ensure conformance across ICG Global Markets & Security Services Operations to both policy and standards in relation to the above. Develop and implement a control framework for ICG Markets Operations to govern both AML & Sanctions requirements, including but not limited to: MCA, KRI, exception reporting/monitoring and escalation standard Key Responsibilities + Point of contact for ICG Markets & Security Services Operations Control in relation to AML, Sanctions & Payments. + Provide guidance in evaluating the risks & controls, and ensure appropriate remedial actions are in place as it relates to AML monitoring & sanctions + Proactive reviews of Markets & Security Services Operations related control processes and reporting to ensure conformance to policy and standards + Oversight of corrective action plan remediation in relation to AML, Sanctions & Payment Controls across Markets & Security Services Operations + Align and support the wider Market Operations Control strategy + Ensuring that significant risks are appropriately and timely escalated through Control / AML / Sanctions / Payment Controls Governance Channels + Provide analytic and reporting support to the AML, Sanctions & Payment Controls Governance Head Development Value: The successful applicant will develop their expertise in the ICG products and businesses we support. Gain a strong understanding of Citigroup Policies / Standards relating to AML, Sanctions and control, and will have significant exposure to various Operations and other divisional managers across the organization. The successful applicant will also utilize leadership qualities through global and regional strategy planning Experience/Competencies: + Track record of delivering to demanding standards of quality and accuracy + Knowledge of AML and / or Sanctions and / or Payment Controls. + Proficient in metrics/KRIs assessment and reporting + Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task + Managing, organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities + Ability to work under pressure managing to tight deadlines and / or unexpected changes + Willingness to question/challenge existing processes and ensure a satisfactory outcome + Excellent communication and relationship skills across all management levels + Analytical with attention to detail and strong problem solving skills + Proactive, able to take the lead in devising creative solutions + Efficient team player + Strong Excel skills + Knowledge of MS SharePoint **Qualifications:** Educated to degree level.
