Stock Condition Surveyor Location: Birkenhead Salary: £27,511 Per Annum Following recent internal changes, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join our busy Asset Management Team. This role is on a permanent basis working 37 hours per week, based in our modern head office in Birkenhead, Wirral. The office is easily accessible from most transport links with just a short walk from Hamilton Square train station and local bus routes. Free parking is provided to staff either on site or nearby. The Stock Condition Surveyor Role The main purpose of the role will be: - * The post holder will undertake Asset Surveys on Magenta Living's housing stock and other properties/land. * They are required to inspect all major components and effectively record condition and determine renewal period in accordance with the Decent Homes standard. * They will ensure Magenta Living's Asset Management Data is correctly maintained and identify priority issues for inclusion in programmes of investment. Requirements for the Stock Condition Surveyor Role Applicants should possess or be working towards a BTEC (Level 3), HNC, HND, BSc (Property Related), CIOB, CIBSE, RICS or equivalent qualification and have detailed knowledge of Property Surveying decent homes standard and HHSRS assessments. Experience of property/asset surveying and applying decent home standard is key along with the ability to collect and analyse building condition data. Being self-motivated with personal drive is key to prioritise work and complete tasks to set timescales. Effective communication with colleagues at all levels, both internal and external partners, stakeholders and tenants is key, along with good verbal and written communication skills. It is essential you can drive and have access to own vehicle.
